Steve Wozniak Becomes Mayor of Cinnabon
It has become apparent that Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak loves something more passionately than gadgets: desserts. His Foursquare account updated his Twitter stream over the weekend, declaring him the new mayor of Lake Tahoe’s Cinnabon after ousting a certain Rich H.
Aside from his local cinnamon bun store, Wozniak is also mayor to 27 other establishments on Foursquare, including Basking-Robbins, Gilroy Donut House, and International House of Pancakes.
These Foursquare mayorships has earned Wozniak a nomination at this year’s Shorty Awards for Mayor of the Year, but lost the trophy to New York City’s actual mayor, Michael Bloomberg.
